Colin Gravatt supports poultry producers in the mid-South West and Wales, with good practical advice for free range and organic producers.
Colin joined Humphrey Feeds and Pullets in 2002 after selling game feeds. He then switched to looking after broiler and layer customers for a national feed manufacturer.
Now with 30 years' experience under his belt, Colin's experience, calm manner and amazing brain for numbers prove hugely popular with his customers and colleagues alike.
Colin is a passionate believer in being up close with the birds to ensure that they are happy. If they are displaying the correct behaviours, have the right nutrition, ventilation, water and light, then he knows the farmer will be successful.
In 2016, he was runner up for the Farmers Weekly Advisor of the Year Award.
Colin is married to Cindy and has two children one of whom is studying in New Zealand. His passion for rugby stems from the fact that he is a New Zealander but is one Kiwi who supports England!
“Colin sets the bar high for everyone else, he’s just the all-round package. He nurtures everything – his colleagues, the birds, his relationship with industry. He’s a person that truly believes in what he does.”
